ROC Mondrian Bridge

About this project

ROC Mondriaan, known to everyone as a provider of vocational training to students in The Hague, Delft, Leiden and Naaldwijk at several locations. The flagship location of the ROC is the location right next to The Hague HS station. This building is an amalgamation of two buildings on either side of a very busy road. Because the students often have to attend activities at both buildings on the same day, the need has arisen for a modern connecting bridge between the two locations.

Both buildings have a very special and idiosyncratic architecture and are placed at different heights. That is why it was decided to make the character of the modern connecting bridge independent of both buildings and it has been given its own design. The bridge is a design by LIAG Architects.
