YAYA house

About this project

Casa Yaya - grandma’s house is an extraordinary transformation of a top floor apartment in the Chueca district in Madrid. The project was studied, designed and realised according to a new protocol that detects traces, records them, and leaves new prints for the ‘next one' that may wish to search. As end result, a very personal space has been created where the layout and aesthetics reflect the owner and her personality. Architect: Manuel Ocaña.
