The Princess Máxima Centre Lab is a unique child oncology lab in Europe. It is not only a hospital but also a research center with the ambition to improve paediatric cancer care through scientific excellence and specialised research. Therefore, the entire northern wing of the building is reserved for laboratories, research equipment, samples bank, researchers offices and other facilities, i.e. meeting rooms and an auditorium.
