A small house in Voorburg was completely transformed with three radical interventions. 1. Adding a tiny extension at the back of the house has created a new entrance and wrapped the floor plan around the garden, bringing nature into the house. 2. The reposition of the staircase has enabled a new pathway inside the house, stimulating human interactions. 3. Opening the space between the ground floor and the first floor has brought daylight into the house and has, visually and acoustically, connected the family members spread throughout the house. As result the small house has been completely transformed with three radical interventions has been given a brand new layout more suiting to the lifestyle of a young family.
