VOX

About this project

On behalf of Liag, we participated in a competition to design a multifunctional high-rise building in Poznan, Poland. The VOX design was our entry. A unique location located on the eastern edge of the historic city center on a square between the Sheraton hotel and a landmark and historic printing house, Concordia. To meet the multifunctionality, the number one requirement was enough volume. Enough volume to accommodate sufficient and above all various office spaces, shops, fitness with a swimming pool and a restaurant on the top floor, with a breathtaking view over the city. The design of the multifunctional high-rise is inspired by the name of the curator company VOX and 'stands' on 4 legs that divide the square into several smaller, more intimate spaces. This creates an open and accessible concept, accessible for passers-by to take a look at VOX, but at the same time offers enough space to pay tribute to the printing company Concordia offers and integrate this into the design as an eye-catcher.
